We know everyone has been giving and giving this time of year, but if you can help, food donations would be great for the animals that the Shelter Pets Go Home volunteers have in boarding. Most of these animals come from the euthanasia lists at the shelters they volunteer at, when there are no fosters available, the only option left to save lives is to put the animals in boarding. The volunteers pay for this from their own pockets. If you can take it one step further and help with the cost of some of the boarding, the cost is about $10 a day per animal, that would be wonderful as well, (see link on website for giving online). Food donations can be dropped off today at Petco, 6883 Highway 6, Houston TX from 1-6pm. If you would rather give directly to the kennel to sponsor boarding, please speak to a volunteer at the Petco event today for more information.
